Greetings & Salutations;

I'd like you all to meet the newest addition to my family, Pon.

I shall take a photo of him and upload it tomorrow.

While cleaning out my step father's old house, we moved the fridge into the garage and heard a thud. Turned around and there is this wee little bird staring at me. We knew there had been a nest in the rafters but since we hadn't heard anything for days, knew they had left.

Except one. He was abandoned when they flew the nest.

Pon is a little bird, nothing speclactular but I love him ^^ He is a thrush, a bird that looks like but is bigger than a sparrow.

Pon warmed up to me in about 20 minutes, 15 of which was spent looking for worms for him. He rode in the car and liked the sound of P!nk. He doesn't really like anyone else.
Have to feed him a mixture fed through a syringe, and pretty much have to carry him around everywhere cause he gets moody when I put him down. I think he's half parrot since he loves sitting on my shoulder.

People are probably thinking, so what? All pet bird are like that. But he's not a pet. Up until this afternoon, he was wild. He is not a tame bird, but he'll come to me and talk to me (AKA chirp loudly at me) and he even gives me kisses, ask :iconmistyfit:.

right now he's sleeping ^^
